254 Marion Iowa. Feb. 8" 1915 Cary Club met with Mrs. Davis. Our president Mrs. Shumack presiding Fifteen members responded to roll with quotations from Old Songs. The minutes of last meeting were read and approved. Mrs. Shumack reported having paid The Federation dues. There being no other business the program was given per Calander. In the absence of Mrs. Elson Mrs. Mentzer gaver her work. A sketch of the life of E.A. Stiner which was very interesting. Mrs. Winter in a very able manner reviewed the book, On The Trail of Immigrant. Club adjourned to meet Feb. 22 with Mrs. Rathbun. Mrs. Shumack. Pres. Mrs. Bishop. Sec'y. Marion Iowa. Feb. 22. Cary club met with Mrs. Shumack. Fifteen members responded to roll call with quotations from Washington Mrs. Bromwell was a guest of the Club. The minutes of last meeting were read and approved. Mrs. Cross thanked the club for a plant sent to her during her illness, Mrs. Mentzer reported the meeting of the Federation. The program was then given Mrs. Shumack gave the Reading Mt Vernon, Mrs Pyle gave the history of our Flag and Mrs Winter read a sketch. "The Boston Tea Party," Mrs. Davis read a paper "Around the World with our Marines," Each of these papers ware very interesting.
