  On account of sickness at the home of Mrs
  Phelps the Cary Club met at home of the
  Pres Mrs J R Alexander.
  Fourteen members responded roll call
  by miscellaneous quotations.
  Minutes of Sep 29" read approved;
  Mrs Cross reported fourth and last payment
  for support of French Orphan paid
  Sec'y read the notice District Fed of Womens
  Clubs to be held at Mt Vernion
  decided by Club not to send a delegate.
  Sec'y was instructed to correspond with
  Mrs Lagell in regard to her being with
  us Nov 10".
  The following program was then given.
        In Italy                 Mrs Brown
        Modern Rome     Mrs Blinks
  Current events given and no further business.
  Club adjourned to meet in two
  weeks with Mrs Addie Shumack.
