60 W.C.T.U. met with Mrs G. W. Mitchell March 21st. Mrs H. H. Fluner was in charge of devotionals. Song 23rd Psalm. Prayers were offered by Mrs Richards and Mrs Hess. Scripture I. Kings 19th Chapter showing no need for discouragement if we rely on God. Right will prevail. Urged all to earnest prayer. Devotionals were closed with prayers by Mrs W. J. Stewart and Mrs Fluner. Secretary's report of Feb. meeting read and approved. Miss Bailey reported that window of Central Meat Market had been secured for market day for April 1st. A paper "Temperance and Missions" was read by Mrs. Fowler. A letter, urging a delegation to come to Des Moines to the Dry Convention to be held March 27-28th, was read by the Secretary. It was decided to send as large a delegation as possible. Market Day committees: 1st ward. Mrs Fluner. 2nd Mrs Watland. 3rd Mrs Hess. 4th Mrs Mitchell Mrs Hamilton Treasurer's report given. $25 was sent for various purposes. Balance of $7 in Treasury. It was decided to leave posters still on display in store windows until after next meeting. Miss Bailey made several remarks concerning national and state government. Motion made by Mrs J. C. Lincoln seconded by Mrs Bump to have Secretary send a vote of thanks to Lloyd Thurston for support of dry law. Mrs Bump expressed thanks for such men as Borah & Shepherd in Washington. A program was given by the children under Direction of Mrs Mitchell. A work of thanks to the children was expressed by Mrs Robert Lincoln. Meeting was adjourned by benediction. Mrs Geo Lincoln Sec.
