133 newspaper clipping covers top half of page The Postponed August 1936 Meeting: The W.C.T.U. met Aug. 25 with Miss Ada Park. 7 were present. Devotions were by Mrs. Park. Minutes of the June and July meetings were read and approved. Mrs. Stewart, vice president, calling for reports of directors of departments, suggested that each director mention what relation her department has to Christ's kingdom. Mrs. Stewart, evangelistic director, has made sure there were devotions at each meeting. Mrs. German sent the barrel. The outstanding report was made by Mrs. Hess, director of the Flower Mission. Mrs. Hess said that not always do flowers grow in gardens. Many poems that express God's care and good will may be called Flowers in God's Garden. Poems may be kept and read many times. The department takes flowers, delicacies of literature to shut-ins. One hundred and two annual [?] bouquets and text cards were given
