The meeting was opened by the president, Mrs. Hadley, by prayer. Report by program committee: Programs are outlined and in hands of the printer. The union pledged $1 00 to the Lillian Stevens fund. Mrs. Paul Peck spoke of the outstanding personality of Dr. Doy who will be the speaker in Grinnell at the Gates lectures Feb. 8th-9th & 10th. Meeting was closed by prayer. The W.C.T.U. met Feb. 15, 1938 with Mrs. John Evans. The attendance was very large. Dr. Brobyn gave an address. A Memorial Service was held. At the business session, Mrs. Robert Lincoln asked if we should offer prizes for peace this year. Mrs. Henely spoke of the importance of young women studying peace. She urged that the prizes by offered. Voted to do so. Tea was served. Ada Park-Sec'y.
