December 1942 The W.C.T.U. met Dec. 15 with Mrs. Mitchell. Mrs. Mitchell sang a Christmas song, "If you Are a Rabbit." The group sang "Joy to the World." Mrs. Barnum read a clipping of article by Sen. McArthur. Mrs. Watlaud read a card from a nephew in South Africa. Suggestion was made that a Christmas card be sent to Mrs. Shaw is in the hospital from the Union. Nellie Lincoln had the devotions, reading from Hebrews 12:11-15 and Matthew 2:1-11. Mrs. Stewart read from a book about W.C.T.U. work in India's In The Shadow of the Himalayas," written by some of the U.P. missionaries. It stated that India was ready for National Prohibition. Miss Corrough read the Washington Letter from the Union Signal. Motion was made that the Union send $5.00 to the State to be used in anywhere needed most. Seconded and carried. Offering 90c. Tea and wafers were served. Fifty cents given by each of the following,
