1950 December Meeting Tues 19 The WCTU meet at the home of of Eva M. Pepoon with 7 members present. The meeting opened with our President Mrs. Stanley presiding. The meeting opened by singing out WCTU Temperance Hymn. Mrs. Willis Tingle had charge of the Devotionals. She read from Micah 5th chapter 3-4 verse also Isaiah 9th chapter 6-7 verse. Following in prayer by Mrs. Allen. The Salute was given to the American Christian and Temperance Flags. Mrs. Stanley read an interesting Christmas story. The secretary's report was read and approved. Mrs. Allen finished giving the report on the State Convention held at Newton Oct 17 to the 19th. Mrs. Ralph Mattingly joined the WCTU and paid dues of 1.00. There was only 7 members in attendance Closed with the Benediction. 1951 January Meeting The WCTU meet at the home of Mrs. Floyd Stnley with 9 members present. The President Mrs. Stanley presided. The meeting was opened by singing the WCTU Jubilee Song and Temperance Hymn. Mrs. Olson had charge of the Devotionals. She read for the Scripture "God's promises" an article on the Orphans Home at Council Bluffe Iowa, How it originated. Mrs. Allen presented an article on "For Good of the people" through papers and Magazines not using (?) advertising. Secretary report read and approved. The Treasurer report was partly given. Saulute(sp) to the American Christian and Temperance Flag was given. Mrs. Skyler had charge of the prgram. She read an interesting article from the Union, (?) Selling
