May 20 1952 W.C.T.U. meet at the home of Mrs Russell with 18 members present. In the absence of the President Mrs Stanley the Vice President Mrs McBlair presided. She opened the meeting with National and W.C.T.U. mottoes, followed by the group singing Onward Christian Soldiers. Mrs [S?] had charge of the devotional. She chose Proverbs 31:10 and 12:25-31. Standards for Mothers, Sing Faith of our Mothers. Secretary's report read and approved. A thank you mote was read from Mrs [Mangel?] Baily. A motion by Mrs Rachel Mikel and 2nd by Pepoon. The financial secretary financed a trip for 3 youth members to a trip to our youth camp. Mrs Stewart handed out pamphlets to be read by the following members. Also an article So it nothing to you as a woman To young people. Secretary report read and approved. It was decided to serve ice cream and cookies at our July picnic.
