March 17 1914 W.C.T.U. met at the home of Mrs. Wastand. The Pres. Mrs. Lincoln opened the meeting with prayer. Song. "Work for the night is coming." Mrs. Brand, Mrs. Meacham, Mrs. Wastand, Mrs. Stocks and Mrs. bailey were appointed as Soliciting Com. for Market Day Apr. 11, Miss Jennie Bailey was instructed to send for leaflets for Anti-[leigarel?] Sun. Miss Helen Adkins sang the solo "My Task". Miss Jennie Bailey had charge of the Program. The topic was "Temperance and Labor". Miss Lowry recited Wood's "Song of the Shirt". Miss Lucice Pierce sang a temperance song. Miss Baileys paper giving the present condition of labor especially in sweat-shops showed the great need of the Consumer's League. 20 were present. Closed with the [Mispah?]. Mrs. Wrage Sec.
