Dec. 20 1916 W.C.T.U. Met at the Cong. Church. 9 attende.Mrs. Sop her read the scripture lesson and led in prayer. min. Read and approved. A letter from Co. Pres. Mrs Bowen in regard to a county worker read and discussed. Motion made and carried to invite a co. Worker. Mrs. Cole read a paper on liquor and child labor. Mrs. Buck read a paper on the financial benefit of prohibition. Adjourned Mrs. Lord, Asst. Sec. Jan. 16, 1917, Grinnell W.C.T.U. Met in the Cong. Church eleven were present.Rev. Mr. And Mrs E.W. Cross led the devotions and then gave a very interesting talk on law enforcement in Montana. We spoke of the importance of officers who will do their duty being elected. Sec. report read and accepted. Mrs. Sopher reported condition of depot. Mrs. Waltand read a paper. Asst. Sec. Mrs. Lord
