Martin exhorted the ladies to enthusiasticly consider the problem that confronted us that of Mayorship Praise to Him the Giver of all god [illegible] the day. Our president presented to Miss Buch a life diploma which she responded with sitting words of appreciation. Some matters of interest were left for future consideration for lack of time. The balance of the time was given to matters containing the cities welfare. Plans were laid and advice rendered as to the best interest of using our influence in the most effective way. There were a goodly number present and a profitable meeting was enjoyed. We ended by the benediction. [See?} The April meeting of the Union met with Mrs. D. C. Phillips Tuesday April 11 - 1923.
