150 15, 1924 The January meeting of the W.C.TU. was in unison with the Jubelee meeting. A delegation from out of town was here and the occasion was a profitable and helpful event. A fine program which was enjoyed by all was carried out. 19, 1924 The February meeting of the W.C.T.U. met on the nineteenth day of the month with Mrs. Will Simmons with a good attendance. Mrs. C. S. George lead the devotionals exercises. Hymn How firm a foundation was sung. A part of the 5th and 6th chapters of Galatians was read. Miss Buck had paid dues for a lady who said that she would belong to the Union the coming year then afterwards changed her mind. It was voted to refund the same to Miss Buck out of the treasury. The following amounts were allowed Lillian Stevens fund $2.00 Francis Willard fund $2.00 Suffering Japan fund $5.00 1 doz. Jubilee song books were advised for the Union $.75 Prize essays in schools at least $7.00 Poster work in schools 4.50 or 5.00 Ladies were appointed to visit schools. Mrs. C.
