The July meeting was a gathering of the Union at Mrs Words. After the a bounteous picnic supper was indulged in. The devotionals consisted of the reading of the 12th chapter of of John and sixth chapter of Ephesians. Followed by singing The Tide rolls in. After devotionals Our President read Total Abstinence in Scotland Minutes were read and approved —. Business deffered this occasion being more of a social gathering Interesting reports of the convention was given by Messes Watland Kearney Baily and Stocks Mrs Kingslans had change of the program. Miss Kingsland gave a very interesting reading Mrs. [Steaks?] read a very interesting paper. A large number present.
