Territory of Iowa Lee County Sect I John H Luies clerk of the District Court of said County which a Court of record do hereby certify that Edwin Guthrie Esq. whose name appears to the foregoing certificate of *(illegible)* judgment, is now and was at the time of signing the same an acting Justice of the Peace for said County duly commissioned and qualified according to the law, as appears of record, and that to his official acts full faith and credits are due. In testimony whereof I have *(illegible)* my hand and affix the temporary seal of *(illegible)* at Fort Madison this 1st day of August AD1839 John H Luies Clerk District Court Territory of Iowa Lee County I John H Luies County Recorder for and within said County do hereby certify that the foregoing deed with the certificates there to annexed was deposited in my office for record on the 1st day of August A.D. 1839 at 1:00PM and was duly recorded of same date hereof at 2:00 PM in Mortgage Book No1 pages 35 & 36.
