(infection?) to me that no (impondence?) on my (?) (?) occasioned my sickness that I am aware of & I shall hope for the best as long as possible, the consequences to me in a pecuniary point of view have been rather bad - I have done no business of any ind the (past?) year I have not earned a dollar - but when health returns I hope to be able to do some thing, during last winter I boarded with my wife's sister, since the first of March I have left town, the reason of my boarding was that Elizabeth's health was very (?) & it was (?) for me them to kept house, during my sickness Elizabeth has been a kind faithful & affectionate (?) & I feel almost indebted to her for life, for two or three past weeks we have been living with my brother in law about two miles from town on the border of a large prarie, we think of staying here during the heat of summer - I never obtained for (Alanson Mory?) a certificate for his lot which will probable come in market this fall he will have to pay $6.40 for it at the land office - I have heretofore written to him about it & the other business I will request the administrator of Davis estate to write (to Lawton?) As soon as I am able which I hope will be in the course of a week I will write to William - I will also write to you soon and I pray you to give yourself no uneasiness about me I am s d
