if it was a mortgage on Joshua Culvers farm and I have no doubt but that you will receive the interest on the very day it is due - I have procured a great many letters of introductions and believe they will be of benefit to me - I will bring into action all the energies which nature has given me to obtain and maintain a respectable stand in parrity and make for myself a competence and should I fail in Illinois after a five years trial I will try my luck elsewhere, and never dispond under any circumstances - Give my love to all and particularly Master Stewart - I shall write to him shortly.
