Lyons Iowa Oct. 20"1871 Henry Child Esq A.T. Wheeler Esq of this place informed me this morning that H.W. Smith & Chas W. Chase attys for Mary F. Limbeck served a notice on him as atty for you to take the deposition of E.T. Manning M.D. some time last week which I suppose has been taken The next term of the Circuit Court begins next Monday I should be at home tomorrow and Sunday Wheeler says they are evidently getting ready to fight it Your [Brother?] [H. Childs?]
