Dear Children + all your Relitives I thought I would Say a few lines to you about the cropes + weather it is very dry + the corn is small + thin + will be about a half crop I have ours culterated for the first time + the wheat is about a [illegible] out + will be a faire crap my grass is fit to cut this week But I am [illegible] [illegible] dollar + [illegible] I have more grass than I shall it is very good I have not hired no help yet But I find it very B[illegible] work to dig seller quirecy stone +dr[illegible] th[illegible] + draw sand + lime this week I am to lay the wall
