By candle light I received your letter several weeks ago. I was very glad to and more than glad to hear that you were all [illegible] I have----- at deal of trouble about [illegiable] I should wrote before if I had been well but I have had a very bad cold in my head most all winter I am some better. Now Josephs folks has been sick. We learned today they were better we have not made any sugar yet. Oliver taped about fifty trees [illegiable] frose in the roots
