To Thomas Child Philadelphia the 10 1862 Dear Broters Thomas I Recieved your letter last Week was glad to here from you you Said tht you was en well Mother Is uneasy about you She thinks of the Spels that you had last Sumer here you Must Not werke to harde So as to get Down Sick And Never git up a again Thomas Ite looks Now as iff Springe Had Come Once More In this parte of the Wurld the Prospect of graine And Hay Is Not as good as last year up to this time the ground Is very Dry Wee had One lite Raine One the [2] of May And One the Middle of Aprile tha Is all the Raine tha Wee have had this Spring Thomas I have got whare you Had Wheat In to Oats Whare you had Oats I Shall Sow to Wheat [Ant?] [the?] Pea ground to Wheat
