Philadelphia Dec 21 1862 Dear Brother you wanted me to write to you when I got home from Pennsylvania And how I Mad Out with my Cattle Henry We bought Our Cattle [low?] this [low?] wee Could Sell them low I Made About 140, Dollars One What I bougt them I took 16 [head?] From Home them I Sold fer A good Price better then to Sold them at Home wee had A Snow Storme Down In PA [S?] than [?] Two feete Deepe this lasted 1 week then went off then wee had grass Againe It Rained All One week this was About as bad As Snow Wee Sold 80 head Out of the Drove then wee Mad 2 [?] And Sold the balance of them wee Drove the Cattle through the river At Easton the water was 2 to 3 feete Deep and the water was Cold
