have plenty of money before this So you could come and See us as well as not now I would Like to come and get a good [illeg] for I Know you can get one when the [illeg] comes on and [illeg] let now you are [best?] you have plenty and live right up to the Handle. I would Like much to Step in and you with your family all Snugly in your place of abode I Should Enjoy it much but if I do not come first get a good dinner for Some other of your best friends and remember me while they are Eating [illeg] Climene I am Just the Same [best fellow] that Ever was and not married yet but have not given up [illeg] to Some fair young Lady now their is So meny young men gon to the war their may be Some fine girl of 16 [illeg] that is waiting for me for I am young yet about the Same [illeg] when I git married I will Send you a paper and when you See it [properly?] [illeg] you will no doubt have a good laugh and [with/wish?]me much Joy I am not Sure that I will get married this month Still I may if the weather is not to warm I think I will and will Send you a papper. So this may be the Last Letter you Will reciv from your Bachelor Uncle N. C My neighbours [illeg] me married [illeg] that may [do?] perhaps they will Keep at it untill I make it out. tell Kate I would Like to See her [Todling?] about in her Little House and Just Step in and get one of here good [illeg] [illeg] [illeg] I know they can get one up when they [Spend] Money I here Thomas was bit by a Snake Should think you would Keep him from Snakes take care of the boy wel I have Just noticed I have this Sheet nearly full and canot write much more Say to Thomas I would Like to here from him and you again. [Huy?] the man that that [illeg] farm is getting rich this year he bought milk this Spring at 8 to 10 ct per Gall to make cheese and will make [$]2000 by the puntsen [puncheon?] and making it during this Season (above first line:) well Henry I will [close?] hoping to here from you Soon write me a good full Letter what is [illeg . . . ] I think I Shall go to Carthage to Live in a Short time that is to [illeg] awhile.
