Mr. Child he payed me $200 and my wife $60 a year and the remainder of the time $18 per month for both of us our time will be out the 1st of March. I thought I would write to you and find out if you wanted to hire me for the coming year or if you think there is any prospects for me to go out there this spring, if you want to hire me let me know as quick as possible after you recieve this letter and let me know how much you will pay me to work for a year for you and how much you will give my wife per week if she goes out there. Let us know how much you will pay one or both of us and all you will pay so as I can depend on it. if you do not want to hire one or both of us likely some of your neighbors may want to. I have
