Philadelphia June the 7 1868 Dear brother I recivd your letter of May the 28 and that Drafte of 250 Dollars I was [illegible] Sorry that I had to Sende to you for mony this Spring I was Compelde to Do So I Could have waited About 3 weeks longer I was glade to See the Draft Henry you See what thomas is [a] going to Do Next fall he Spoke of Sending Some mony to me this fall he talked as if he was A going to Send money And pay up that last 1000 Dollar Note I [Dont] that All payed up I may want 175 or 200 Dollars more the last if November Or the las if December perhaps you Can Send the Amount of your 2 Small Notes the 1 of Jan 1869
