Tell henry that if he is drafted to hire A man if he can if he has to pay five hundred dollars I had rather hear that he paid a thousand than to go into Army me think that he has done first rate to make so much this year tell henry and Climena that we should be verry glad to have them come home but I dont suppose there is any use in asking them to come now Samuel roggers wife died last night she had the fever thomas thee dont know how much trouble I have had since we got thy leter a week ago to day for fear that thee and henry would be drafted we are all well and hope that these lines will find you the same this from thy unworthy Mother
