quite a surprise to me as I did not aspire kiss for the place and positively refused to have kiss the nomination but I was put up just the same too late to back out but I got there just the same and defeated one of the oldest citizens and wealthiest men in town and in a ward where there was over 30 of a party majority against me. It is quite gratifying for it shows I have some friends So already the fellows begin to object to your having a "cousin" like me. Well Minnie if you can dive off all that are unworthey of you by aid of me I wont feel that I am wholy in vain in the world That is [righth?]
