now to make any plans for I have no idea yet what I will be doing or where I will be when it comes winter but if Hattie isnt much better than she is now or was last winter I will have to stay here and if I can get some thing to do I will stay any way. Geo. must have had good luck fishing 55 [illegible] whew! if we would get two that weighed 55 ounces we would be in luck here. Have you heard any more from Hat? dont forget the picture when in Malone. Hattie says that you can tell Jean "to name that child Webster Porter" I would hate to take the responsibility though unless the child is very well and strong.Yes I destroy your letters as fast as I get more on hand than I can keep safe in my pockets always [kepe?] one till I get another. No I dont care if you dont dont destroy mine it gives me much pleasure to know that you think so much of them.
