was looking for a letter with a good deal of certainty and would have been disappointed if it had failed to come. Yes indeed Minnie I do want to see you you forget that I never use any taffy. I wish it were possible for you to be here this summer now while I am out of a job we could have a picnic all the time if you were here now you would be delighted with the west every thing is so "lovely" (to use your word) this is the finest time of the year here I suppose as well as in the east. Thanks Coz for the promise of your picture and try and get [Kat?] to have hers taken when you are in Malone. I wish I might be there too but
