last week I have worked so hard every day that when it came night I was too tired to write. I have been fixing up around home working on the wood pile cleaning the yard and building fences [illegible] have rebuilt 15 rods of picket fences and tomorrow I will have to begin painting it. I expect to have a rest for a week or so now as I am to have company my New York City coz will be here tomorrow eve. She has been visiting west all winter is now on her way home has been at Alder for a month or more. Kattie and I were out there a week and more the first of the month had a very pleasnat visit and lots of fun. I anticipate having a nicer time while
