I have always made calculations on that chair when I visit Malone a hammock may do but it cant beat the chair though I was reading this morning that if there was any one thing more than [any?] other better calculated to bring young people together that thing was a hammock. I never had any experience but I suppose the "two young people" would have to use it at the same time to have the best results. Tell [Kat?] to preserve her Hammock and that if I owe a letter she will have it soon. Remember us to Ameline and [Henry?] when you are there
