Now Cousin mine you see how good I am to write a longe letter. [Pleale?] to try and do like wise next time if you do have to do like me fill up most of it with a lecture on small pox or some other pleasant subject. I wish I might have been there to accompany you on your ride to Malone. I want to see you above all things Hattie and I have begun to talk already of going East next summer so you see I have begun to work it up and I have no Hattie wont me to ask you when your birth day comes. She thinks it is in Dec. and I though it was in Nov. some where about the 10th. Now who is right? with Love I must close Yours Mell
