done as I do with most my correspondence the [bal?] of my cousins think I am a very poor hand to write and are in luck if they hear from me four or five times a year. You are you see in fack my dearest Coz. Now dont you feel highly honored? Your letter came Thursday this time as I fell sure it would. I went to the office that day at noon as confident of finding a letter from you as could be if it had not been there you can bet I would have been disappointed. We have had very nice warm weather all the fall till yesterday when it turned cold and our first frost to kill even the tenderest plants was
