Independence, Iowa, Dec 27 1885 My dearest Coz Min: It is my night to write to you and I am going to do it from force of habit I suppose for I have not yet recd an answer to my last letter. I am afraid that possibly your letter may have got lost for it seems to me that you must have written if so you will have to take this as an answer to it and write as usual next sunday but if you have written and your letter has not got here yet why this one dont count and I will write as soon as I recieve it. I was quite surprised to recieve a package this
