What terrible times they are having with the Smallpox in Montreall. 4000 cases in the city! should think you were so near that there was some danger of it reaching you there have even been cases in Michigan that were brought from there. I suppose you have all been vaccinated. Now about that picture. I wont scold you. I never scold do I? but I would be more than pleased to get one so remember the promise. If you are saving all my letters you must have a stack of them, I hate to distroy yours but am afraid I cant keep them safe. I keep one till I get another sometimes more but only what I can take care of in my pocket
