of course I will excuse you for not writing more. I hope you wont have any further trouble but you must be extreamly careful not to catch any cold or over do for the result might be a hundred times worse than the measles were at first. Why you must have been sick when [illegible] you got my letter were taken the same day I wrote. We have had the most lovely weather for the past week or so has been like June and realy things are almost as far advanced as they usualy are the middle of May farmers are beginning to plant corn the cattle are on grass for
