A Forth of July is a humbug I would rather close up and go fishing ten to one it means for me that I will get so tired before night. I can hardly get home but then I suppose there will be some money in it. Yes Minnie I do need a vacation. I only weigh a hundred & thirty perhap I will take your advice and take one some time next month but I am going to let you know more about that later. I ought not to write any longer a letter than you did for I too am a little selfish and I like to get a good long letter as well as any body but I am going to be
