Did you see in Journal the acct of Ed Young, having both feet crushed by an accident in Boston? He is Libbie Poor fellow and the poor girl I guess feels pretty bad. Office of Mel. L. Webster, Groceries and Crockery. Independence, Iowa, 188 this time and I wont do any thing again to hurt your feelings I would rather put my hand in the fire than do so intenteously, and wont you try to interpret any thing I write, only in the spirit of love? Why my presious girl. I would rather have one word of love from you than all the news you could tell me in a year. And then to get a letter with not a tender word in, had just made me sick. I tryed as I never did before to act myself when I went home to dinner after I got my letter. but what I eat just choked me, and I had to break down and leave the table If you only knew the number
