I am the one that will be extravagent I am afraid there will be nothing too good for "my Minnie" but you can help me to save and "get ahead" so when we are old it wont be necessary to worrie for the future or depend on our friends. Webster, Groceries and Crockery Independence, Iowa, July 17 1887 Darling Min: - This is a most awful hot morning and you will have to excuse me if I write a "weak" letter for that is the way I feel. the last week has been as hot as I ever saw it several days it has been above a hundred and yesterday it was 107, a very "unusual" summer. I like warm weather but this suits me too well. if this lasts am afraid I wont be so fat when you see me for I have lost 5# this month. but you wont
