  The Denison Total Abstinence Union met

as per Adjournment.

  Regular Officers present.

Meeting opened by singing and prayer
by the Rev. Mr. Ward.

  Minutes of the last evening read and

approved.

  Select reading by Mr. Partridge.
  Question for discussion next taken

up, to [illegible] - Resolved that the [illegible]
States would be benefited by allowing
women to vote on the Liquor question.

  Judges Mrs. Hamilton , Mrs E. S. Plimpton and

Rev. Mr. Ward.

  Mrs Weldon opened on the affirmative

followed by Mr. Erectus and Mr. Shawvan
on the negative.      

  The judges decided in favor of the affirm-

ative.

  Mr. French who was appointed to speak

was absent.

  On request of the President the Constitution

and By Laws was read by the President.

  Programme for the next meeting.
