82 June 7th 1879 The Denison Total Abstin ence met with the regular officers present. The meeting opened with singing. The chair announced that the program for the evening was the same as that of the 24th of May, which meeting adjourned on account of a storm, but the parties to [illegible] program all being absent. The meeting was entertained by speeches by the President & the Rev J B Hawk. On motion it was decided x to have a picnic. On motion the chair appoin ted the following committee.
