June 28yh 1879 The Denison Total abstinence Union met as per adjournment The President Cap Famillois being Dr Hougland too the chair and called the meeting to order Meeting opened with singing prayer by the Rev J B Hawk Minutes of the last meeting read and approved On motion it was decided to hold the picnic on the 11th of July, said day being the anniversary of this Organization, and the former committees were retained to make all necessary arangements for that day. The committee on program positively decline to serve on this occassion
