Denison [illegible] Jan 24. The Denison Total Abstinence Union met at the usual time and place the President in the chair the meeting opened with singing and prayer by the President. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Misses Minnie Bunter? and Fannie? Burling [illegible] then came forward and spoke and interesting diologue The chip? [illegible] was postponed till the next evening. Robert Ingesols? sentenves to our temperence were then read by Capt. Partridge. Girty? Hawk, Mollie, Florence, Anna, Mabel Wilson who were on the programme of the evening were absent.
