I did mind also the hours perpetuated by the demands of the multiple activities, obviously but unknowingly at the time the environment of position and assumed or shoved-on obligations. These plus a conscientious sense of responsibility due to inheritance and further enhanced by rigorous childhood training and rearing, combined drew too heavily and too continuously or a too limited supply and soon of energy. If they might wisely have been balanced I might have avoided such abiding my way but there was no such possibility.
