or shall we say a colony of artists? They invited me to their meetings which approvingly I enjoyed. I also felt honored when invited to exhibton with them. Although we docked down in Singapore twice to await connections to other ports, our time schedule didn't mesh with the exhibition of the show dates. I have always regretted not being able to avoid myself of this opportunity.....Perhaps, it could be; in thinking of it now, I should have anchored down in Singapore. I liked Singapore and I liked the people and or all surprises, I enjoyed the teas! And still more surprisingly - I don't like tea! We also met a fun fellow - A Dutchman docked in from Batavia! Although his name now escapes me the fun times we had linger. The 1929 celebrational New Years day always pose atop the high time [best?]
