If you have not yet recd any word from him when you get this, and think it worthwhile you can write to him Mr Shepherd, Poultry Man &c and state your proposition What you can do as to sales &c giveing him a Plain Statemen as to destination &c he Prefers Packing in Boxes of about 100 lbs in each. it is better to handle and will be in better condition than in Barrels. I was in Keokuk last Sunday come home yesterday, all well, from your Father S G Finney
