Blakesburg Iowa Jany 27 1878 Mr Geo. S. Finney It has been over one month since I have had any word from you. I wrote you some time ago that I had taken an other mortgage on Dan Stocker Place for $612.00 to do that I advancd $203.00 I requested you to send me a draft on either Chicago, St. Louis, or New York. There has been ample time to have recd a return. I have promist to Loan Dave Worley $500.00 on two years time. If you have not fowarded the $203.00 by draft yet I hope you will foward it at once. I have not paid my taxes yet, and need some money otherwise. As soon
