Blakesburg Ia, Feby 21 1880 George - I recd yours of the 22d just 9 day from date you say you sent me 100$ in coin by express to Ottumwa, & think I understand it now, If it had been directed to me at Blakesburg via Otto., I would have had notice from the Exp office. I will write by to days mail and will know this evening if it has been rec'd. I think it is now certain that McAlister will not give more than 1800 $ for the Place, though I fealt sure he would. So I think the next best thing is to rent it for the coming year to as good advantage as possible. I think we can realise 160$
