Blakesburg Ia Nov 23 1880 Mr Geo S Finney your mother recd a letter from you a few days ago. - It had been a long time since we had recd any word from you. Well in the first place I have not sold the Daw Stocker Place yet. Barns is trying hard to see his Colby place and If he dose will take it at the Price 2000$ I thought perhaps I could sell it with my 20 of timber near Baileys, the time has come to rent places, and If I dont rent soon will have to take up with most any kind of a renter.
