feet that his fence backs of coming up to ours & the rest of his fence is very bad, I called his attention to it, & he refused to do anything and forbid my shutting up the gap, saying that our fence should not be joind. - I could do no other way but call the fence viewers, and last monday they made an order that he should shut up the gaps & make the rest of his fence lawfull within ten days though I dont believe he will do. the law then gives me the right to put in his fence, and him to pay double price for it. you have no Idea how much trouble I have with it, there besides that about 4 feet of the top of the well is tumbling in I will be obliged to get a load of brick from near Union Vill and have the wall repared, the Pump has to be repared, as the
