4 If you could get some one to go in with you, and put in an Equal number of cattle, and each one wished to could have his own seperate Brand & still keep them all in the same herd. - that Mr Porter you mention about seeing is a No 1 good man I know him well, how far are you from county seat? Now about the sale of your place, poor time to sell. If you want money you can get it for 6 per cent that is cheep enough. I would not mind putting five or six hundred dollars in the stock myself. I want to hear from you often, take plenty of time write me a full descripting of the country, as to timber, stone, water &c.
